Please enjoy the first La Retama of 2010. As always the Red Uniendo Manos Peru is very excited to be working here to fight povert and seek justice in our daily lives. We hope that this edition gives you a little view into the work that is being done here and makes you want to be more involved. This edition includes articles about the III International Youth Congress on Water and the Environment, How Fair Trade is helping others, a reflection by an American about her trip to Huancavelica, the newest news on the situation in La Oroya, and an introduction to 2 YAVs, Sarah Chancelor and Sarah Terpstra.

Greetings from the Red Uniendo Manos Peru!
We are happy to announce another edition of La Retama, the newsletter of our organization. It is attached in both English and Spanish forms and can be found at the Red Uniendo Manos website. Since the last Retama, we have begun making a Podcast. It is called Kuzka, which means Side by Side in Quetchua.
